What is “Shiriyaki-buro (literally, bottom-burning bath)”
The lower benches inside the bathtub have small holes which gently jets out the hot-spring water. When you place your bottom (slightly at the front of your anus, which is known as “the first chakra” in India) on one of the holes, you can enjoy the hot-spring’s healing effect. If you have piles or lower-back pain, you can also place the affected rea directly.
